Metro Christian Academy was founded in 1983 by a passionate group of parents and educators who shared a bold vision: to establish an interdenominational school rooted in Christian values at 61st and Peoria.
Since then, God’s hand has been on the school. With more than 120 churches represented in the
student body of 1,200, our school community has flourished.

FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS

Metro Christian Academy’s capital campaign, For Such A Time As This, will create a safe and engaging playground, add essential parking and roadways, establish a maintenance fund, and develop a new building that fosters a welcoming, innovative, and spacious environment for our students, staff, faculty, and families. Staged in two phases, the campaign will not only enhance our student experience, it will secure a more sustainable future for our Patriot community.

OUR MISSION FOR PHASE ONE IS TO RAISE $5,000,000 

This pivotal step relocates the elementary playground right next to the building, ensuring our children can play safely without crossing streets or parking areas. An additional 100 parking spots will be added to welcome students, families, alumni, and guests to the Metro campus as we prepare roadways to accommodate future construction needs in Phase II.

This is more than just a campaign; it is a call to action for all of us to invest in the bright future of our community.

Metro has an energetic and vibrant team of educators, administrators, and staff devoted to helping transform students into young Christian leaders ready to shape the world community for Christ. Students

Metro Christian Academy is committed to helping our students think Biblically and grow spiritually, from the classroom to the stage to the field and beyond.

Metro provides many opportunities to engage students and shepherd them in their walk with Jesus:

• Bible courses including OT/NT survey, Life of Christ, Doctrine, Missions, Finance, and Senior Seminar

• Weekly Chapels with both in-house speakers and various local ministry leaders

• Quarterly High School Worship Nights

• Breakout sessions are a weekly ministry to come together during the break to glorify God through worship, prayer, or devotionals for high school students only.

• Spiritual formation activities and resources

• Pastoral care and counseling

• Numerous specific interest groups with specific meetings and events (FCA, mental health, Jesus club, prayer group)
