We’re excited to share that Metro has successfully completed another accreditation cycle with Cognia.

Accreditation is an important process by which schools are thoroughly evaluated. It’s like a stamp of approval that recognizes Metro’s commitment to the pursuit of excellence through Christ.

Cognia‘s accreditation is a comprehensive protocol that investigates and certifies Metro as meeting all official requirements of excellence in academics, arts, athletics, and administration.

Metro maintains about 75 affiliations, associations, and accreditations.

Some of our most impressive include:

Being recognized as one of the Top 50 Christian Schools in the nation by The Best Schools, out of over 12,000 private high schools in America.

Accreditation by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, which enhances fiduciary trust in Christ-centered ministries.

Dual-accreditation with the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) and Cognia. OSDE ensures that our educational programs meet or exceed all state standards for preparing students academically and beyond.

Cognia, reportedly the largest community of education professionals in the world, conducts rigorous reviews to ensure that all learners reach their full potential. These reviews include in-class observations, extensive data-mining and reporting, surveys, and feedback from faculty, families, students, and staff.

Thanks to everyone in our Metro community for your commitment to excellence. Together, we’re ensuring that Metro continues to provide outstanding education for our students—now and into the future, as well.

Learning together,
