College-Preparatory Academics

Since 1983, Metro Christian Academy has established itself as a true college-preparatory educational institution with demonstrated academic results, innovative approaches to learning, and an authentic community of staff, students, and parents.

While at Metro, students receive continuity in instruction through integrated standards from Preschool through 12th grade. Metro is a unit school where teachers collaborate and work together to provide an integrated curriculum for all learning levels. Metro faculty is comprised of certified teachers who are passionate about their areas of study and care deeply about developing and empowering students.

At Metro, scholars are challenged whether they’re enrolled in On-Level, Honors, Advanced Placement, or Dual Credit courses. Dual Credit courses are taught on campus and college credit is earned through Colorado Christian University, John Brown University, and Le Tourneau University. Experiential learning opportunities abound in and out of the classroom. The new High School internship program takes learning beyond Metro and allows students to interface with area professionals in a number of industries.

Metro is committed to developing the whole person. Our culture inspires students to focus on academic and intellectual development, spiritual growth, and community building through the common pursuit of excellence, both in the classroom and while participating in activities that include leadership, fine arts, and athletics.

At Metro Christian Academy, we take learning seriously. Our class sizes are small and the curriculum is rigorous. Students are able to stay challenged and remain on track because teachers are in tune with students and are able to offer differentiated instruction. If needed, individual support is available through our Patriot Resource Center.

Serving Students from Preschool Through 12th Grade

In our P3 and Pre-K programs, academic and developmental needs are integrated into a child-friendly curriculum where teachers inspire collaboration, creativity, curiosity, and confidence.

Our Elementary School is focused on maximizing the unique potential of every child as students move from concrete learning (what), to deeper, more abstract understandings (why and how).

With an emphasis on developing the whole child, Metro’s Middle School provides each student with the support and encouragement they need to grow, accept challenges, and thrive.

Metro’s High School provides a rigorous scholastic program along with the encouragement of Christian virtues and life skills. Our students are equipped, affirmed, and confident in achieving post-graduate endeavors.
