Faculty Positions
Seeking highly qualified professionals devoted to the pursuit of excellence through Christ, Metro Christian Academy is dedicated to providing an exceptional educational experience for our students. Instructional staff members are expected to hold certificates with the Oklahoma State Department of Education in their respective teaching assignments. Substitute Teacher
Have you been looking for a way to share your love for Christ, kids, and Christian education at Metro? Consider becoming a Substitute Teacher! Substitutes play a major role in carrying out the activities planned by our teachers, providing continuity in the classroom, and ensuring the educational process is not interrupted when the regular teacher is absent. Principals and teachers greatly recognize the value our subs bring and would love to welcome you and encourage you to consider becoming a Substitute Teacher with Metro.

Maintenance Positions
The Maintenance Department and its team members are responsible for maintaining the various Metro Christian Academy facilities and grounds at a high standard for our students and their families, faculty and staff members, patrons and donors, and visitors to our campus.
Custodian
This full-time position is responsible for general and detailed cleaning and janitorial duties to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the building and surrounding facility which include, but are not limited to, classrooms, offices, hallways, stairwells, restrooms, gymnasiums, parking lot and campus grounds. The qualified candidate must have a working knowledge of cleaning practices, methods and techniques and must be able to safely use the various tools and equipment necessary to perform the essential functions of the position. This position also assists with set up, break down and clean-up of various events or activities in/around the building.
The hours are Monday-Friday, 3:15pm-11:15pm, August to May and day shift hours in June and July. Some weekends and varying work schedules may be required depending on the activities within the school. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position with benefits.
The minimum qualification for this position is at least one year experience working as a custodian, or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Administrative Positions
At Metro, the Administrators alongside the IT, Security, and Health Team Members work with the faculty to help foster a culture of community and create an experience that our students, families, and guests love! After-School Program Aide
The After School Program Aide provides oversite to students participating in Metro’s After School PACK/PASS Programs. Candidates must work well with children and youth ages 3 years to 8th grade, have excellent conflict resolution and communication skills. and be patient and energetic. Aides should be able to give and receive instruction, as well as work independently. Click here to learn more about this position.
The After School program is open Monday-Friday, 2:30pm – 5:30pm. High school seniors are welcome to apply. Specific days and hours can be discussed during the interview. We are willing to work around school schedules.

Staff Accountant
Metro Christian Academy seeks a Staff Accountant to assist the Finance and Accounting department with a variety of routine and complex financial and accounting tasks. The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, etc.), ability to accurately prepare complex financial reports and records, great attention to detail, excellent data entry skills, great verbal and written communication skills, basic research and data collection skills, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain the confidential nature of the position.
This is a full-time, twelve-month position, with the general hours of 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Qualified applicants must hold an Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field and have two years’ experience working in an office environment with accounting responsibilities and experience in a not-for-profit environment a plus.
