Over the summer, you will receive communication via mail and email that provide important information and instructions. Please make a habit of checking your mail frequently so you don’t miss anything. Dress Code
Dress code is one of those foundational issues in a private school that if administered righteously, adhered to by the students, and supported by parents, it will set a positive tone for school climate. The vast majority of our students at Metro have hearts to obey and honor the Lord in obeying school policies. Our task as a school is to be clear in expectations and consistent in application of those policies.
Metro Christian Academy requires students to read during the summer to keep reading skills sharp and to encourage a love of reading. Teachers who view summer reading as a time to promote materials that are not covered during the school year tend to choose topics that will support future learning or selections that will help prepare students for high-stakes exams such as Standardized testing in elementary and middle school, and ACT, SAT or Advanced Placement exams in high school.
